Dr. Corbin offers a variety of surgical and non-surgical procedures to meet the needs of his patients. Here we offer you a brief overview of each procedure and how it might benefit you.
Breast reconstruction helps restore natural-looking breasts after breast cancer and mastectomy. Dr. Corbin offers techniques that use tissue flaps, tissue expanders, and/or implants, and nipple and areola reconstruction can be performed as well.
Breast revision is a secondary procedure performed after breast augmentation to correct a complication or unsatisfactory results. Patients may desire a change in implant size, type, or placement.
Breast implant removal surgery is used to remove breast implants from breast augmentation or breast reconstruction patients. During these procedures, the surgeon may also remove silicone material from implant leaks and the breast capsule, which is the scar tissue that forms after the placement of a breast implant. When the scar tissue capsule and implant are removed as one piece, it is known as en bloc removal.
Male breast reduction surgery, also known as gynecomastia surgery, eliminates overdeveloped male chest tissue using either liposuction or excision techniques. Fat, skin, and glandular tissue can be removed to restore a firmer chest contour.
